What is the D.C. Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) Program?
The CBE Program increases the availability of business opportunities with District-sponsored development projects for local businesses. CBE certified businesses receive preferred procurement and contracting opportunities offered by the District of Columbia.
D.C. Mandatory Subcontracting Requirements specify that in most cases 35% of all dollar volume of the contract shall be subcontracted to qualified certified business enterprises.
